New Construction in Round Rock With the Details Most Builders Skip
If new construction is near the top of your list as you shop for homes for sale in Round Rock, Texas, here's the first thing to know: there isn't much of it left. Milestone is one of the few builders still putting up new single-family homes in Round Rock, and this is their Home of the Week.
It's almost 3,200 square feet with 4 bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms, and the finishes are the reason to keep reading.
Property status, pricing, and builder incentives shown in this video tour reflect what was available at the time of filming and may have changed. Incentive terms depend on buyer qualification. Contact Jeff directly for the address and current details.
Walking In
Ceilings that make "high" feel like an understatement, light wood floors, and a long entry hallway. A bedroom with its own bathroom sits right off the entry, finished with floor-to-ceiling tile in the shower and a frosted window for light and privacy. The whole house runs light and modern: white millwork, light flooring, and clean doors with soft-close hardware.
Mudroom, Laundry, and Garage
A real mudroom with built-in cabinets and shoe storage, built for backpacks and school gear. The laundry room carries the same tile and cabinet quality as the rest of the house. The garage is oversized, with a tandem bay that makes it tight for a third car but ideal as a gym or workshop, and the tankless water heater means hot water doesn't run out.
The Office and Main Living Space
A dedicated office with French doors sits off the entry, along with a large main-floor half bath. The main living area has some of the tallest ceilings you'll see in a home at this size, topped with transom windows and one of the largest ceiling fans you'll find in a house. A wide set of doors opens fully to the back patio, so game day indoors flows straight to the grill outside.
The Kitchen
A waterfall island that wraps around the sides, granite countertops, and cabinets that run all the way to the ceiling, which adds storage most builders leave off. Add a gas cooktop, a range hood, a breakfast nook with pendant lighting, and a walk-in pantry that's bigger than the ones you'll find in plenty of larger homes.
The Primary Suite
The primary bedroom sits on the main floor, facing west, with plenty of windows. The bathroom is where the tile work shows up: a floor-to-ceiling walk-in shower with a bench seat and glass enclosure, a separate soaking tub, dual vanities, and a frosted window. The walk-in closet is large enough for two.
Upstairs
A large flex room with an open railing that looks down to the entry and a coffee or bar nook that works for a small fridge and drinks. Bedrooms upstairs have recessed lighting, windows in each room, and a full bath with a double vanity and tile to the ceiling.
The Backyard
A medium-plus yard with a gas hookup for the grill and stone finish wrapping the entire exterior of the house, with no Hardie plank siding.
Builder Incentives
At the time of filming, Milestone was offering financing incentives on this home, including a 4.99% fixed rate for 30 years, or 4.5% for seven years before converting to an adjustable rate, for buyers who qualify. Rates and terms change often. Reach out directly for current incentive details and to see if you qualify.
The Bottom Line
Almost 3,200 square feet, 4 bedrooms, 3.5 bathrooms, a mudroom, a waterfall island, floor-to-ceiling tile, and builder incentives, in a market where new construction is getting harder to find.
